Powering 41 Simultaneous Sprint Spaces at NWG Innovation Festival
Delivering high-density, multi-channel wireless audio solutions for one of the UK’s most ambitious collaborative innovation events.
The NWG Innovation Festival is one of the UK’s most ambitious collaborative events, bringing together innovators, industry experts, and thought leaders to tackle today’s biggest business and environmental challenges. Returning for the 2026 festival, our team deployed more than 2,000 wireless headphones alongside dedicated transmitters for each of the 41 sprint tents.
Running more than 40 wireless audio channels side by side without interruptions is no simple task. Thousands of headphones and nearly 100 transmitters and microphones all operating simultaneously can quickly lead to RF interference, signal crossover, and technical disruption if not carefully managed.
Fortunately, that’s exactly what Silent Conference engineers are trained for.
Ahead of the festival, our team deployed more than 2,000 Silent Conference headphones, alongside dedicated transmitters for every sprint tent. By splitting our team into dedicated deployment roles, we were able to prepare every sprint space in parallel before carrying out comprehensive end-to-end testing across the entire site.
The result? Every element was working perfectly before delegates arrived, ensuring each space was fully operational right from the start.
“Managing 41 wireless audio channels across a single site required meticulous planning and continuous technical oversight throughout the event.”

Keeping Thousands of Headphones Charged
Charging 2,000+ headphones usually means massive footprint, tangled cables, and heavy manpower. Luckily, our rapid-swap battery system made this a breeze, there was zero cable clutter.
At the end of each day, our engineers simply removed every battery, placed them on charge out of the way, and reinserted before delegates arrived the following morning. Every headset was fully powered and ready to go without slowing down the event schedule.
Technical Expertise You Can Rely On
Events like NWG Innovation Festival demand more than reliable equipment – they demand experienced engineers who can anticipate problems before they happen.
Beyond delivering the Silent Conference system, our team also provided on-the-ground technical support for sprint facilitators, assisting with everything from laptop connectivity to audio routing and presentation setup. This proactive approach helped sessions stay on schedule while giving organisers complete confidence that technical challenges would be resolved quickly and efficiently.
From the initial deployment through to the final pack-down, Silent Conference delivered a seamless audio experience across one of the largest silent conference events of its kind. The festival showcased not only the scalability and reliability of our technology, but also the technical expertise and hands-on support our team provides to ensure every event runs smoothly.
