At the heart of keeping everything running smoothly is Scherezade García Laso, their Conference and Logistics Manager, who’s been with the company since 2019.

Since joining the company in 2019, Scherezade has seen firsthand how audio technology can make or break an event experience. “We host a lot of conferences and theatre sessions within our exhibitions,” she explains. “Delegates always ask for headsets, they find them so useful.”

Despite the headphones being a real game changer for delivering content, they could be challenging and time-consuming to manage during multi-day events. With other headphones, charging them often became a time, resource, and space-consuming process, as each unit needed to be charged individually.

“The biggest challenge we had was dealing with the tedious charging wires of the headphones,” she says. Scherezade adds, “Taking big boxes back and forth, finding space to store and charge everything, and sorting through all the cables was a real headache.”

That’s when Silent Conference stepped in.

With the new removable hot-swap batteries and stackable charging stations, “It’s just easier for everyone now,” says Scherezade. “We need fewer people on-site, and the setup is quicker.”

The benefits haven’t just been behind the scenes. It’s a much better experience.”

As for the future, Scherezade sees Silent Conference continuing to play a key role in how CloserStill delivers its events. “The technology just keeps improving,” she says. “Everyone loves using their headsets.
